Our Methodology

TidyDose isn't just another task manager. It's a neuro-affirming engine designed to bridge the gap between "I want to do this" and "I am doing this."

The "How": AI-Powered Micro-Dosing

Executive dysfunction often makes large tasks look like insurmountable mountains. Our AI decomposition (the "Dose Engine") uses advanced language models to break your goals into tiny, actionable steps that require minimal cognitive effort to start.

Transparency in AI: We use AI to generate the structure of your day, but you are always in control. Our models are tuned to avoid "productivity hacking" and instead focus on gentle, self-care directed steps that align with your actual energy levels.

The Decomposition Process:

  1. Input: You provide a fuzzy goal (e.g., "Clean the kitchen").
  2. Processing: TidyDose identifies the hidden steps and cognitive blockers.
  3. Output: You receive 3-5 "Doses" (e.g., "Find one blue plate," "Clear a 2-foot space").

The "Why": Anti-Shame Design

Traditional productivity tools rely on "overdue" red alerts and streak counters that trigger shame in ADHD brains. TidyDose is built on the philosophy of the Daily Reset.

Every day at 4 AM local time, your incomplete tasks are archived. They aren't "failed"—they are simply cleared to make room for your current version of self. This removes the "shame debt" that often prevents people from opening their task managers at all.

The "Who": Our Mission and Purpose

TidyDose was created with a singular focus: to build a productivity system that works with, not against, the neurodivergent brain. We believe that technology should reduce the cognitive load of everyday life, rather than adding to it with complex interfaces or shame-inducing alerts.

We continuously iterate on our design based on feedback from our community, prioritizing features that reduce friction, eliminate "shame debt," and provide supportive feedback. Our goal is to help you bridge the gap between intent and action, making it easier to start and finish the things that matter to you.
